Here is a picture, taken today of the pumpkin growing efforts that I am doing with my Cub Scout Pack. The pictre was taken today and they have done very well to have survived the heat that we have been having here in South Australia. I have been looking after them, and ensuring they are watered etc, but even so, I am surprised by the growing that they have done. The other picture I have up was taken only a couple of weeks ago and the growth seen is rather impressive for a few hort weeks. I am hoping, that it does grow into a really nice pumpkin. It is a pity that I can not enter the competition, but that is ok, I can deal with that as well. It is just the satifaction I am getting it to do so well. I only hope that my other half doesnt kill it off while I am away at the Jamboree in January! Wait and see what he does to it I guess!
